Hanuman - the epitome of bhakti

Lord Hanuman, the epitome of bhakti with prembhav, the most perfect example of devotion/ bhakti, excellence, strength and obedience, was able to leap across the ocean to Lanka on the strength of Ram's name, while Ram had to build a bridge!  The Negativity of human life cannot be eradicated. The very basis of existence is craving. As long as we have cravings, the negativity of life cannot be eliminated because the mind receives the fruit of our cravings. When the seed of bhakti is allowed to grow and flower, it envelops our whole being with pure love, not the cravings. Bhakti exists in everyone. This pure, unselfish love is just waiting to be unfolded and to manifest itself within us. We must only water the seed so our bhakti can unfold and open up inside us. Bhakti is a very powerful means to realise our true self and to establish our true nature within us. The bhakta/ devotee overcomes all hurdles, mental and physical, financial, social with the greatest of ease, quicker than the plodding rationalist or the cautious intellectual. The power of bhakti/ love sends him soaring towards his ideal. To ignite the Hanuman within us, needed is total unreserved self-surrender. There is no loss in this. It is by no means a bad bargain. It is a mighty gain indeed! You have purchased Him by showing your love unto Him. He is your slave now.  Lets begin this ignition on this Hanuman Janmotsava (19-4-19, chaitra poornima) with the attitude of  Lord Hanuman, "Physically, I am the servant of my master. Mentally, my master is my friend. Spiritually, my master and I are one."
