International Yoga Day

Happy International Yoga Day πŸ™πŸ» This is Yoga day not hour dear friends. Also this is Yoga not Yogasana day. Celebrate Yoga every moment, everyday. It is important to live yoga. But we are just performing some asanas and pranayama for an hour and the yoga is over. Yoga should begin from the moment we get up in the morning daily till retire to the bed. Live Yogic lifestyle daily, tune with the nature's biorhythm, balance 5 elements to healthy, happy, prosperous and successful life. Start your day with 10-15 min. of silence and observe yourself. Practice any Mantra / or guru Mantra for 5 min. Select Mahamrityunjaya for health, Gayatri Mantra for clarity of mind and Durga Dwadishannmala for removing anxiety and worries from life. Then practice Saucha / cleansing like Danta & Jihva Dhauti. Drink pure water and take bath. Practice selected asanas suitable to your need (learn under expert guidance and practice it regularly), select few pranayama, mudra and Bandha. Bask in the Sun. Refuel yourself with simple, fresh and sattwik food. Do include seasonal fruit, nuts and millets in your meal regularly. Food is Havi / samidha in the stomach fire, so select it wisely. Help in cleaning the house and surroundings regularly. Working men and woman should practice the karma yoga at their work - with full awareness, dynamism, perfection and concentration. Follow the biorhythm, the Sun & Moon and Ritu/season cycle for type, quantity of Ahara (Diet) and Vihar (lifestyle). Spend some time with nature - walk bare foot on the earth and grass, include gardening and Pets/ animals of your surroundings care as regular activity in your life. Spend some time with family and elder members regularly. Do practice Mantra, Bhajan, Music and Havan for positivity. Practice Yoga Nidra and selected Pratyahara and Dharana or Dhyan regularly to relax, balance, train and tame your mind and emotions. Before sleep recall your day to understand the strength and weakness of your personality - Swadhyaya. Preparedness - Do plan positively for the next day, next step towards your objective of life, but avoid obsession towards it. Manage your finances wisely, lakshmi energy requires pampering and conservation. Practice Sakshi Bhav/ witnessing attitude - must learn to move with flow and improve the stamina to accept the challenges. Thank the higher power, mother earth, the guru/ guide, your parents, partner, the nature, the society, your country for all the support received. Live Gyan Yoga - Stay ready for changes, adopt and accommodate. Do Serve the needy as per your capacity.
